Connect the Le Vieux Logis MCP

Le Vieux Logis exposes a public, read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. A compatible AI assistant can read the property sheet, rooms, practical information and surroundings, and get the direct booking link.

Connecting

Server URL (streamable HTTP transport)

No authentication is required: the server only exposes the public listing information. No personal data or bookings are exposed.

ChatGPT

Open Settings → Connectors (enable developer mode if needed).
Choose “Create” / “Add custom connector”.
Name: Le Vieux Logis. MCP server URL: the address above. Authentication: none.
Save, then enable the connector in the conversation (“+” button → More).

Claude

Open Settings → Connectors, then “Add custom connector”.
Enter the name “Le Vieux Logis” and the server URL above.
Save, then enable the connector in the conversation.

Other clients (Cursor, Codex, etc.)

Any MCP client supporting streamable HTTP works: just enter the server URL, no key or token.

Full property sheet: description, capacity (6 guests, 2 bedrooms), key figures, reviews.

List of rooms and sleeping arrangements, with descriptions.

get_practical_info

Check-in and check-out, parking, safety equipment, cancellation terms and FAQ.

get_surroundings

The village of Duingt, Lake Annecy and the area: distances and activities.

get_booking_link

Direct booking link (calendar and availability), pre-filled with dates when known.

Getting the best results from ChatGPT and Claude

Tool descriptions are explicit and every tool is annotated read-only: the assistant can call them safely without asking for confirmation.
Specify the language (lang parameter): answers are available in French, English and German.
For a booking, ask for dates and number of guests first, then call get_booking_link: the assistant shares the link and the booking is completed on the site.
Prices are not in the tools: they appear by date in the booking calendar. An assistant must not guess them.
An assistant should quote these facts as-is (no pets, no shared spaces, linen provided, bathroom without bathtub, free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival on direct bookings).

Limits
