The street is quiet and everything is within walking distance: the SPAR open seven days a week, the newsagent, and a bakery that regulars consider the best on the lakeshore.

Parking the car
The lanes of the old village are too narrow to park at the door. You can stop long enough to unload, then leave the car in the free public car park, about five minutes' walk away. That is the price of an intact medieval village.
