A quiet lane, everything on foot

The lane is quiet and every amenity is within walking distance: the SPAR open seven days a week, the newsagent, and a bakery regulars consider the best on the lake shore. The village also has well-regarded restaurants.

The castle and the peninsula

The castle of Duingt stands on the peninsula, at the most photographed spot on the lake. It is reached along the beach, on foot from the apartment.

Parking in a medieval village

The lanes of the old village are too narrow to park at the door. You can stop long enough to unload, then leave the car in the free public car park, about five minutes' walk away. That is the price of an intact medieval village.
