On the western shore, between lake and mountain
Duingt sits at the narrowest point of the lake, where the large lake and the small lake meet. On one side the peninsula and its castle, on the other the Taillefer cliffs and, across the water, the Roc de Chère and the Dents de Lanfon.
From the apartment everything is walkable: the boat pier 120 metres away, the cycle path at 180 metres, the small lake and its pedal-boat rentals at 200 metres.
The lake without a car
The lakeside cycle path runs along the edge of the village: a car-free greenway all the way to Annecy and beyond. Boats serve Talloires and Annecy several times a day from June to September.

Two beaches and balcony trails
The village has two beaches within walking distance: the shaded grass beach, with its snack bar and sailing club, and the one leading to the peninsula and its castle.
